Education : Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience

There is a pressing need to train promising clinicians and clinical researchers to study innovative ways of assessing and diagnosing persons with prodromal and preclinical stages of dementia and other cognitive disorders.

Our postdoctoral training program in neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience offers a unique opportunity for a post-doctoral fellow to be trained by a team that closely focused on studying the earliest preclinical indicators of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and related dementias, and that is extraordinarily skilled in the delivery and development of cognitive interventions. The core faculty and program of research at the Center for Cognitive Neurosciences and Aging (CNSA) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, provides an unmatched platform for specialty training.

The prospective research fellowship candidates will be evaluated with regards to their a) potential for a career in patient-oriented research; b) research interests and training experiences; and c) letters of support.
